URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement Named One of Rhode Island’s Best Places to Work

The University of Rhode Island Foundation & Alumni Engagement (URIFAE) has been recognized by Providence Business News as one of the Best Places to Work in Rhode Island.

Companies and organizations were selected for this honor based on confidential employee responses to a survey distributed and compiled by Best Companies Group. The broad survey categories included leadership and planning, work environment, training and development, pay and benefits, personal satisfaction, and overall engagement.

“I am thrilled that our employees are so enthusiastic about their work and the environment in which they perform their jobs,” said Lil Breul O’Rourke, president of URIFAE. “I believe the overwhelming success of Big Ideas. Bold Plans. The Campaign for URI is a direct reflection of their commitment and enthusiasm as they connect with alumni, donors, and friends of the University.”

“This recognition reflects our collective efforts in fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging workplace environment. Each one of our employees contributes to making URIFAE a great place to work, and I am grateful for their dedication and hard work,” said Leo Perrone, director of human resources.

URIFAE is an independent nonprofit that secures and manages contributions from alumni, parents, corporations, foundations, and friends on behalf of the University of Rhode Island, and engages alumni through programming and communication. The organization employs more than 75 experienced development and alumni engagement professionals, along with specialists in advancement operations, corporate and foundation relations, donor relations, financial management, human resources, marketing and communications, and office administration.
